Green Filing offers attorneys a user-friendly option as select California Superior Courts move to mandatory electronic filing.

Richmond, Indiana (December 17, 2015) – As the Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Merced, and Kings County Superior Court’s move to mandatory electronic filing in January and February of 2016, Green Filing fills a void and offers filers a choice. Filers may now choose to e-file with Green Filing’s enhanced services rather than the Court’s basic e-filing portal.

Green Filing’s easy, single screen e-filing solution takes the complexity out of the electronic filing process, and provides 24/7 devoted support by email, phone, and live online chat. Filers may rest at ease knowing they’ll get the help they need with Green Filing’s exceptional support. Other features include email notification of accepted filings with file stamped documents attached, serve-only filing, detailed filing activity reports, and case activity summaries.

“We have embraced a challenge in 2015 to expand our service to multiple states, and we are really proud and excited to have added these California courts,” said co-founder George Knecht. “Attorneys will be able to take advantage of an extremely user-friendly e-filing solution, and we’ll provide them the support they need, when they need it. In addition, we will host weekly e-filing webinars, at no cost, to any filer who wishes to attend.”

Attorneys and other filers can sign up for Green Filing’s webinars by visiting www.greenfiling.com/california.

In addition to the aforementioned counties moving to mandatory e-filing, Green Filing’s electronic filing service is also currently available in Fresno and Kern counties, and in limited case types in Orange and San Diego counties.

Co-Founder Eric Eastman provided some insight on Green Filing’s future in California, “It was important for us to solidify our presence in California now, as the Courts throughout the state make long term decisions about the implementation of electronic filing. Doing so has allowed us to develop a product so flexible that we can make ourselves available to any court in the state that will allow us to.”

For attorneys new to e-filing, Green Filing also plans to offer a “concierge filing service.” This service will allow filers to pay Green Filing a flat service fee to e-file their pleading for them, until they become comfortable with e-filing on their own.

Green Filing has been providing e-filing service to attorneys and residents in the state of Utah since 2010, in the state of Texas since early 2015, and just launched in Indiana in November of 2015. More than 5,000 users have submitted over 3 million documents through Green Filing for filing in the appropriate court.
